Peter Soboroff is the best vet in New York! All our cats are comfortable with his gentle and connected attention. He is kind, knowledgeable, intuitive and supportive. His staff are always caring, willing and accommodating.

I can’t find the words to describe how great this place is. I have a very aggressive cat and no matter what i did he was turning into an absolute demon when we go to a vet. New York Cat Hospital staff was able to take care of my baby the most gentle way possible. For some reason my baby is just very calm here. Everyone is super friendly and supportive and they make sure that your cat gets the perfect treatment. Highly recommended to cat owners.

My Tiffany is precious to me and I do not trust everyone with her vet care. I am pleased with the quality of vet care she is getting at New York Cat Hospital. Dr. Gilbert is very knowledgeable, has effective communication skills and treats my Tiffany with care and great professionalism. The supporting staff is also amazing. Thank you.

The care Oliver (and I as his cat mom) received at The New York Cat Hospital was exceptional. The staff is welcoming and gracious. And Dr Soboroff is outstanding!

The team at NY Cat Hospital, especially Dr. Soboroff, has demonstrated exceptional professional care and compassion throughout my experiences with them. I first brought my cat Buttercup here about six months ago and was so impressed by their thorough and thoughtful care that I entrusted them again with my second kitten, Snowpuff. Unfortunately, Snowpuff fell critically ill shortly after I brought him home and tragically passed away after emergency care, and during this incredibly difficult time, the team at NY Cat Hospital truly went above and beyond. While they only saw Snowpuff once, their thorough examination, detailed documentation, and willingness to provide support even after the visit stood out as extraordinary. What impressed me most about their practice is how they handle both routine care, like Buttercup’s, and moments of crisis, like with Snowpuff. You can really tell the values of a business not just in good times, but also in the hardest moments. Dr. Soboroff and his team were compassionate, professional, and incredibly helpful during a time when I needed it most. I’m especially grateful for their: • Attention to detail in medical records • Clear communication about vaccination and care protocols • Professional integrity and compassion in handling sensitive situations Buttercup continues to receive excellent care here, and I feel fortunate to have such a reliable and caring veterinary team.
