How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Center for Veterinary Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

As an Veterinary ER doc and a very particular dog mom, I cannot say enough good things about CVC and Dr. Trisha Patel. My dog, Luna, loves coming here, which says a lot, because most dogs don't usually sprint into the vet's office with a wagging tail. The entire team at CVC is wonderful, kind, professional, and so sweet with Luna. From check-in to techs to checkout, everyone makes us feel welcome and cared for. The clinic is clean, organized, and runs on time, which I really value with my schedule. I fully trust Dr. Patel and the CVC team with Luna's care and am so grateful to have them. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for a vet they can truly trust.

We have been going to Dr. Dundie since we adopted our dog and the staff here is amazing! We moved further away but still travel back because the level of care they give is so much higher than other vets we have used. You can tell that everyone working there really cares for the animals and that shines through in every aspect of the business. They are quick to respond to minor questions and are happy to provide adjustments to make every animal as comfortable as possible. I could not recommend them more!

Brought my dog for his eye. Doctor had good bedside manner as well as assistant. Nice, the good part and I appreciate that. Did not feel solution offered was great though. I’m kind of over the charges being exorbitantly high and going higher and higher. $$$ charged for the exam. But I pay because I love my dog and the vets tell you, you must. The receptionist who called back to make a follow up appointment was rude, abrupt.

Dr Leonard and everyone in the office are amazing. Our pup, Porter, was having issues and Dr. Leonard called back and insisted she would fit him in. Center for.Vetrinary care has taken care of our pets for almost 15 years. They are some of the kindest and most caring in the city.
