How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VetIQ Petcare
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Don't even start your pet going to this Fishkill location. They're never open. Don't return calls. I did for my puppy. Set up his next vaccination appt because there can't be big gaps in between some series of shots. This Vetiq cost my puppy to start all over with his shots,I'm out another $187 because of them. I had to find another vet office to see my puppy. And that wasn't easy in a time when office's will only see so many animals a day. I wouldn't advise anyone to go here.

I was beginning to panic as my dog showed signs of an ear infection and all local veterinarians were booked. The earliest appointment I could get was four days out. I heard about Vet IQ opening an office in the same building as Wal-Mart. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they recommended an arrival time that same afternoon. I was a bit sceptical about the check in process of scanning a barcode by the entrance to register and get my place in line but it was quick and easy and we were inside after a short wait in the car. I can not say enough about the entire staff at this facility. Warm and welcoming and really treated my baby well. And get this, they thanked me for trying them. My best friend is now on the mend as I left with the necessary medication and the first dose already administered. Thank you Cindy Weagley (Vet) and your excellent staff. I'll happily recommend you to anyone looking for a pet health services.

Stay away!! They overcharged me in excess of $50!!! Woman at counter didn't give me a receipt said it would be emailed. Charge me twice for a rabies shot for my cat and did not add my coupons. The woman at counter was not wearing a mask for COVID as requested by governor.

I’m sorry for giving this review but the last 2 times we went there the female at the front desk the vet tech I believe she has a poor attitude! Then I was told to take my cat to my vet instead because they couldn’t see her! In the past they would see cats if they had respiratory infection and treat them with an antibiotic and that’s the reason why I went there and they are 5 minutes from my home and my vet is a half hour away and most times you have to wait a week or more to get an vet appointment. The 1st thing when going into a business is how you are treated and if you are not friendly why would you want to go back to that business! That’s how you lose your customers!
