How to Save on Veterinary Costs at JoyLoy Veterinary Services
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr Lloyd for close to 30 yrs. She is all about the animals & not the almighty dollar! Truly honest, caring & goes beyond! My animals all love her as much as I do! 💗🐾

Professional, kind, and loving to my fur babies. We took our pup Oliver to get neutered yesterday and they kept us informed and answered questions and immediately called me once Oliver was out of surgery and told me when to pick him up. Thank you so much for taking care of my child.

Homeopathic vet, always looking for the healthiest way to heal a dog. Best prices in town, she's local New Mexican and works to provide the best service for the most reasonable price. Local owned and women owned veterinary clinic. She also does shots clinics at our local family-owned and woman owned business in the South valley, called Ace of Hearts. And many other pet stores throughout the state. She keeps prices consistently low and affordable. She also works with the low income spay and neuter program. You can call 311 about the program and make an appointment with her. Book your appointment in advance because she is a very high in demand that based on her experience and word of mouth throughout the state. $9 rabies shots, $18 puppy shots you just can't beat that. My family have relied on her services for over 30 years. Thank you Carol & staff ⚕️ for keeping my pets in good health

The WORST experience! My new puppy was coming in as a new patient and I explained all the issues when making appt. Dr Joyce REFUSED to treat puppy after waiting 10 days for appt. Saying “it’s probably parvo and I don’t have a parvo test. Take him somewhere else? No exam! I found a great vet who did exam him and it was a tick-borne disease NOT Parvo!! If she had just examined him she would of most likely been able to diagnose! At least he LIVED!!
