How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My new love Joe had his surgery and shots here. They were so amazing and the staff came out to say goodbye to him. ♥️

We’ve been with Cottonwood Vet for over 20 years now. Never ever had an issue. They are extremely passionate and compassionate. Pricing is fair but it’s worth it. Then again, I’ll mortgage my home, if I have to, to take care of my babies. 😊 If you’re lucky to get in, because they rarely take new patients, you won’t regret it.

The staff was amazing! They were very patient and gentle with my scared German shepherd. They thoroughly explained what the issue is and worked with us to determine the best treatment.

I usually have a very different experience with CVC, however, for the past 2 MONTHS I have been placed on what seems like a perpetual HOLD. Lynette answers the phone, doesn't give you a minute to speak and then HOLDS the call. I have a screenshot of my hold time (right now its at 19+ minutes) and thats AFTER she asked me to call back in 15 minutes as she was checking in surgeries and hung up. CVC has finally lost Odie as a patient and I will be sure to inform anyone who asks for veterinarian recommendations of my experience. This is not a good business practice. Hire an answering service and additional help as Lynette is obviously not able to manage her that desk on her own. I forget who the woman before her waa bit she rocked! We love our fur babies and being told to hold for perpetual amounts of time is unacceptable. My hope is that Fur-Parents consider this treatment before proceeding. I hope you all receive better treatment of your fur babies. I was treated like mine didn't matter.

What a great place! I've been taking my dogs to Cottonwood for well over 10 years. Dr. Olivas is our primary DVM and she is wonderful. Pricing is fair as well. This place is busy so be patient with the staff they are working hard to take care of you and your pets.
