How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Town & Country Veterinary Cat Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Niedermeyer is the best cat vet there is. He is experienced and caring, and explains everything very well. I almost never leave reviews but I just had to this time. Every cat owner in the area needs to know about him!

Because of all the great reviews I was delighted to take my 24-year old cat to Dr. N. He handled my cat so tenderly and advised us as the next best steps. Our cat has advanced kidney disease which we were aware of and we are following Dr. N's suggestions on not taking extreme measures, but just providing ringer solution and loving him. I can't thank this vet for his thoughtfulness and care to our furbaby. Unfortunately our kitty passed away peacefully at home. We are so grateful to Town and Country for their compassion and taking care of the cremation so our wonderful boy is back home with us again.

The absolute best Vet for your Cat in Northern New Jersey. He is awesome, gentle, knowledgeable and so caring. We have two pure bread Ragdolls that he has treated for 3 plus years . He treats your cat as if it was your own. He is reasonably priced and will give you alternatives regarding how you choose to move forward with your furbaby. I highly recommend him.

My first visit to this Veterinary cat hospital and I am extremely pleased with the doctor and his staff and will be returning with my two other feline babies. I left there with such a positive outlook. He was caring, extremely reasonable and very thorough. I will not go anywhere else!
