I DO NOT RECOMMEND this 'chain Veterinarian ' they don't really care about your beloved family member with paws. Its inundated. There's no personal care. They put the nail in my dog's grave. They destroyed his quality of life and are more concerned about covering their butt. It's a business. It's a growing chain. You're lined up like a pig to slaughter. They are inept and uncaring They intubated my 15 year old dog for a simple dental cleaning, without prior telling me. Hes had 6 dental cleanings and ALWAYS GENERAL ANESTHESIA. That procedure Fully collapsed his trachea. Now I'm in hospice care. Trying to focus every second on keeping Niko comfortable, until his bad days out way the good and the dreadful decision has to be made. The cheerful dog I dropped off is not the same dog I picked up. I have to live with my actions in trying to do right 'recommended ' cleaning , which has lead to his demise. I'm 51 years old and unable to have kids. I adopted Niko from the SPCA when I was 35. Hes my life. You killed my precious boy and show NO EMPATHY. Again they don't care about you or your animal what they care about is the money and that's indicative to the contract you signed prior to procedures::: red light yellow light green light -each one with a price tag attached basically how much is your dog's life worth to you ?? Red light will do nothing green light-spend all the money and we'll do everything we can to save them if they screw up in procedure. ...yellow light-you don't have that much money we'll just do a little bit of care to try to save them ! REGARDLESS OF $ YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO EVERYTHING in your power for the pets!! shame on you shame on you. Niko deserved better!

The exotic specialists are so good here. Yes it is expensive but in the long run they saved me a lot of time and more money. We spent a lot on my rabbit with regular visits that didn’t help my bunny’s actual problem. They were super honest with me, didn’t push unnecessary tests and were so kind and comforting when we were clearly upset. Yes the wait is long but what hospital isn’t? They seem to be dealing with a lot of animals especially exotics & avians which is not easy! I would definitely choose RBVH over anywhere else. Coco had a long stressful day but got what needed to be done. I thank you guys so much! Hopefully my little guy feels better :)

Red Bank is amazing! All staff and doctors are on top of everything at all times! My GSD Berlin was transferred from another facility to Red Bank after a few days of us figuring out a plan for my dog since she ingested a foreign material. Since scoping/surgery was two of our main options we transferred her to red bank since they always have those specialists on staff. My dog was transferred Tuesday morning, I was given the options of scoping my dog to try to remove the material or to skip that and go to surgery. Scoping would have been risky and possibly unsuccessful due to food in my dogs stomach so I decided to go with surgery. My dog was taken to surgery Tuesday afternoon and brought home Wednesday afternoon. I got updates throughout her stay and all my questions answered with confidence. All the doctors I’ve spoken with were so caring and helped me make a really hard decision. They had my dogs care as main priority and reassured me I was doing the best thing for Berlin. Everyone helped me get through this tough situation and eased a lot of my worries. I’m extremely grateful for everyone at Red Bank for taking care of Berlin. Thank you to everyone who helped Berlin and I through this hard time. Thanks to all of you Berlin is safe and recovering!

I cannot thank Red Bank enough, specifically Dr Carl Sammarco in cardiology ❤️ My puppy Aurora has been diagnosed with severe pulmonic stenosis & an atrial septal defect. It is pretty rare to have both & even rarer for them to occur in German Shepherds. She was initially seen down in Georgia as that’s where she was adopted from & recommended to have a balloon valvuloplasty. Being that I live in NJ, we of course wanted somewhere more local. After being seen at a local university hospital (not RBVH), I left nearly in tears thinking my puppy would die at any moment. I was thankfully then able to get in quickly with Dr Sammarco, and he has been an absolute angel. He confidently guided me towards the most appropriate treatment (surgery) and was able to get her in rapidly to not waste time. He has been kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable despite her rather unique case. Aurora had her surgery yesterday and it went as smooth as could be! We will have to wait 3 months post op for an echocardiogram to truly determine the outcome, but her clinical symptoms have already improved. Dr Sammarco went above and beyond to call/email me multiple times with updates about Aurora post op. He answered any and all questions and his love for the animals truly shows. I could not be more grateful to have ended up here ❤️‍🩹 Of course a nice plus - the facility is clean, beautiful & full of friendly employees. The surgery was also much more affordable here than it would have been at the other facility. Absolutely amazing experience all around & I would recommend RBVH to anybody!

My foster dog Georgie has been attending rehabilitation at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital for almost two months now. As a paralyzed dog, his journey has been challenging, but the team at Red Bank has gone above and beyond in their care. Dr. Magilton, technician Ashley, and the entire team have shown immense compassion and dedication. They have not only provided top-notch rehabilitation care but have also taken the time to educate me on how to properly care for Georgie. They have equipped me with exercises to maintain his muscle health, ensuring his continued progress. I feel incredibly grateful to have witnessed Georgie's growth during his time at Red Bank. The support and expertise offered by the team have made this new journey with a paralyzed dog much more manageable and hopeful. Their commitment to providing the best possible care is truly commendable.
