VEG ER for Pets

I can’t thank the entire team at VEG Paramus enough for the incredible care they provided for my dog during one of the most difficult experiences we’ve ever faced. My dog needed emergency surgery to remove a skewer that had punctured her small intestine, which led to severe complications. It was an extremely scary and emotional situation, but the compassion, expertise, and dedication shown by everyone at the hospital made all the difference. Dr. DeHaan and Director Kanwar went above and beyond to ensure my dog received the best possible care. They explained every step of the process in detail, kept me informed throughout, and handled a very complex surgery with remarkable skill. I’m beyond grateful for their expertise and commitment to saving her life. The nursing staff, especially Sam, Kylie, and Jesse, were absolutely amazing. Their kindness, patience, and attentive care made my dog feel comfortable and loved during her recovery. They treated her like their own and kept me reassured by providing updates and answering all my questions with compassion and understanding. Thanks to this exceptional team, my dog not only made it through the surgery but is now on her way to a healthy recovery. I am forever grateful for the care, professionalism, and genuine love they showed both to my dog and to me during such a stressful time. I highly recommend VEG Paramus to anyone who wants their pet in the best possible hands. Thank you again for everything—you truly saved her life.

VEG Paramus is run by actual angels. Every single staff member in the hospital is a gem! My dog Noga had severe gastroenteritis and dehydration and they were so kind and gentle with both her and us. They set her up in her own private space and everyone took turns spending time with her when we couldn’t be there! They sent photos and text updates throughout the 2 nights she had to stay. They ask you for all of your dogs preferences so they can be sure to make their experience as comfortable as possible. They even washed our blanket we provided for her! They also padded her couch with fuzzy blankets from their inventory and all the doctors took their time to explain everything every single step of the way. It was the hardest thing to do, to leave my little girl but I was able to remain calm knowing that she was in their hands. I’m so grateful for every staff member but especially for Samantha, Dr. Hubbard, Dr. Peace, and Dr. Dehaan!

A True Lifesaver – Thank You, VEG Paramus! Words cannot express how incredibly grateful we are to the entire team at VEG Animal Hospital in Paramus for saving our beloved dog, Angel. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in the right place. The compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals shown by the staff is unmatched. Not only did they provide lifesaving care for our sweet girl, but they also offered something we’ve never experienced before—the ability to stay overnight with her. They provided us with a comfortable hospital bed, snacks, water, and seltzers to make sure we were as comfortable and supported as our dog was. That level of thoughtfulness and empathy meant the world to us during such a scary time. They came in every 30 minutes checking her vitals Also while being there we were able to see how they interacted with other emergencies that came in and again it was hands down amazing The cost was more than reasonable, especially considering the top-tier, around-the-clock care Angel received. The facility is clean, welcoming, and truly feels like a place of healing. We were never rushed, always informed, and treated with so much respect. They saved my dog and then we worried about the payment unlike many other animal hospitals that want your money first and if you can't pay they will not help your pet Thank you, VEG, for not only saving our Angel, but for caring for us, too. You are truly the best animal hospital around, and we will never forget the love and comfort you gave us. Hands down, the most incredible experience in the hardest moment of our lives. I was completely blown away when I arrived at VEG+. I did not know what to expect but I was greeted with friendly hands who cared for my pet. Dr. Mary France came right over and the team handled my 5 pound pet with love and tenderness. Everyone was moving with a sense of urgency which made me feel comfortable. They stabilized my pet and nursed him back to health. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for an experienced team in a 24 hour emergency care service.
