How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Newton Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Took our cat Charlie for a wellness check on Thanksgiving Eve - the staff shared cookies with Arthur and Jamie and the doctors made Charlie feel safe and comfortable. This is the vet who saved Charlie last year when he was dying in the middle of the night of an intestinal blockage - a great veterinary hospital - open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Highly recommend them.

I can rant & rave over this place all day! I use them as my primary vet for my 3 pups & have also visited several times for emergency visits - & each time I leave more in awe. The care they give is the absolute best. Every person front staff, to techs, to the vets are so empathetic, caring, & knowledgeable. They also offer a wellness program you can sign up for annually & its such a sweet deal for having 3 small pups whos vaccines have to be spaced. I wish I could give more stars. Thank you for the wonderful care & for being there 24/7!!!

Employees are so kind and caring. Even the receptionists. They go above and beyond. They make you feel welcomed. The vet we had that day, took his time with our boy max and even found things our other vet didn't. Very kind and very friendly. And we were a walk-in emergency and they were so nice to us and our max. I highly recommend them.

I have been using Newton Veterinary Hospital for over 13 years. I have never had a bad visit. Every employee treats you like family in good times and bad times. The only thing I could say that is negative is their pricing. They could charge less for their services. I highly recommend Newton Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Wyman is the best.
