How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Urgent Paws: Pet Urgent Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We used Urgent Paws for our dog this week. He ingested grapes and Dr. Dean and the entire staff were extremely helpful. We didn’t have to wait at all and they took great care of our pup, Cooper. The facility is clean and everyone there was kind and friendly. We will definitely be back if needed! Thank you Dr. Dean!

DR.Dean and his staff have been treating our dogs. They are very compassionate and professional. We can't find enough good words to say about Dr.Dean and his staff. When you need an emergency vet he is the man to see!

I recently visited Urgent Paws for the first time and was very impressed with my experience. The facility is easily accessible from the highway and offers plenty of parking. The office itself is clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed that they offer snacks and beverages while you wait, which is a nice touch. I brought my 1-year-old male tabby mix to see Dr. Dean because he had twisted his paw and was in pain. Dr. Dean was compassionate and thorough. He conducted a physical exam and X-ray to determine the cause of the pain. The X-ray showed that there was no sprain, break, or fracture, and the swelling was likely from the initial impact. Dr. Dean prescribed a shot and antibiotics to help with the pain and swelling. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Urgent Paws. The staff was professional and caring, and Dr. Dean provided excellent care for my cat. I would highly recommend Urgent Paws to anyone in need of veterinary services. 😊❤️🙏🐾🐈😸

Staff was very helpful and the doctor was great. It was so refreshing to be able to use a walk in place that's not an emergency hospital where they just make you sit for hours at a time. Just like we have a place to take our kids for walk ins that's not an emergency room this service now exists for our dogs too now. Long overdue.
