How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Hopelawn Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

By far the best vet we have ever been to. Today was a tough day, but Dr. Kylie Ayers and Tech Jackie were so helpful which made it tolerable at this sad time. I'm so glad that my wife, Beth, found them. Thank you guys so much for your professionalism.

This office is a smaller branch of the practice. I usually take my dog to Raritan Animal Hospital but took her to this office to see the same vet we had seen before for my dog's condition. This office is much smaller and less busy, which was nice for both my dog and for me. The tech was extremely kind and did her best to put us both at ease. I wish I had gotten her name and hope to see her again next time we're there. Dr. Mills is great as well and took time to answer my questions.

They were friendly and welcoming. My dog had respiratory symptoms. Listened to his heart and felt body, looked at teeth, eyes. Did not look at ears, nose, take temp or take blood pressure. All info relative and informative in order to help with a symptomatic diagnosis. Immediately went on to refer me to specialists. I miss my old vet he would tell me why it would be a likely diagnosis and not other things. Instead of the worst case possible without an explanation. I wish the vet here took the time to explain instead it felt they were pushing a referral.

They are detail oriented and always put my cat at ease. They take the time to answer all my questions and concerns and never push to sell anything. Will never go anywhere else.
