Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance

Dr. Christin Landis is the definition of excellence. Her ability to diagnose and devise a successful treatment plan is impressive and noteworthy. My 2 year old gelding, Creamy, presented with swelling in his left hock. Dr. Landis performed radiographs of his left hock and upon examination recommended taking X-rays of his right hock which was asymptomatic! Creamy was diagnosed with OCD , bone fragments, in both hocks. Dr. Landis helped schedule and coordinate surgery with renowned surgeon, Dr. Orvet of New Bolton. Thank you Dr. Landis. Dr.Landis thank you for your diagnosis of Creamy and for taking the time to review radiographs and explain them to me in layman terms!

The office staff are always so kind and pleasant to talk to on the phone. Dr. Barnes not only comes out for regular calls but emergency calls as well so quickly and efficiently leaving no stone unturned when it comes to the care of our horse. We absolutely love this facility and Dr. Barnes.
