How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Chatham Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Amy the 13.5 year old beagle princess has been cared for by Dr Sarle since she was a post shelter puppy who rescued us. For the last 5 years he has treated her for Addison’s disease. When she arrives for her monthly shots, she runs over to Dr Sarle and Christa, his lovely assistant, wagging her tail. She knows that she is very much loved member of the Chatham Animal Hospital pack! If you want the warmth and compassion of a pack, rather than an often impersonal clinic, Dr Sarle is the Vet for you

Absolutely best vet around. Smart and compassionate, old school and genuine. He takes weekend phone calls and texts too, which has been incredibly helpful!

If you are looking for a vet and office that is personable, intimate and truly cares about your pet, go to Chatham Animal Hospital. Dr Sarle is available, easy going, really seems to enjoy/love animals, and puts me at ease. He doesn’t seem to push unnecessary testing or treatment and really knows how to deliver high quality care. Christa, the office assistant/tech, is equally as invested in high quality pet care and has been an amazing resource/support for me. Both have a warm and knowledgeable bedside manner that is just right. Hope to bring my dog here for his whole life!

Dr. George is awesome. He took care of my family for a decade. He is gentle with the pups and explains things so well. Thanks for being so kind to my family. Sincerely, American Eskimo pups Billy and Maggie

Great doctor and very attentive staff. My vet retired without telling us and we had to scramble to find another vet but these folks were hidden in plain sight for so long, that we felt lucky to find them!
