We were very happy with our visit. Our cat was well treated and given a good examination. He had an ear infection and Dr. G took care of him. Mr. Joe felt so much better after we got home. A wonderful staff and caring too!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time but today put them over the 5 star mark! Essex animal hospital has been caring for our two cats and new puppy for some time and today was our Oliver’s last day on earth. All of the doctors are wonderful. The clerical staff is fantastic. They’re accommodating, punctual, and thorough. They are kind and empathetic. They love animals!!! Whether you have a new puppy or kitten or a pet with health issues-they are honest and caring. Today when we had to make the difficult decision to end our Oliver’s suffering the staff was so kind and gentle. I highly recommend this practice!!

This place is wonderful. Not only do I take my dog here for his regular checkups and vaccines, we had a bit of an emergency last week and they took us in and treated him immediately. The staff and doctors are all so warm and welcoming, I couldn't recommend this place more!

Five stars to the super friendly staff! My cat gets his nails trimmed and a sanitary shave every few weeks and a check up once a year. They’re quick, great with answering questions, a little on expensive side but worth it in my opinion. I’d recommend to all other cat parents!

The front desk is very kind and compassionate. The practice should consider assigning vet assistants to specific animals. If an assistant has fear of cats or are just uncomfortable with handling cats, please don't assign them to a cat. If they're better with handling dogs, let that be their jam. The animals will also have better experiences.
