How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Rocky River Large Animal Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The vet took the time to see my horse walk, before she made a determination. She was caring and compassionate, and we both love her. I wish she could have come sooner, but as a new patient, I get the delay. We hope to be able to use them for years, and not NEED them LOL!

The personnel, the knowledge and the compassion at this place is superb. They have treated my goats and alpacas with the best of care. A large animal vet needs a different set of skills then those who care for pets, and they understand the emotions when your animals are sick or hurt. Highly recommended for more reasons then I have room for here.

Excellent!! I have worked with this clinic for several years and it is the best, especially Dr. Parker. He recently saved my new born foal born Sat. Memorial weekend. She was very sick and he responded to my emergency call for help. He arrived quickly and stayed until after midnight, then performed follow-up treatments the next three days. He also checked with me every day for a week to ensure she was improving. It now has been six weeks and she is healthy, strong, and growing. I am so grateful for what Dr. Parker did because I know she would not be alive without his help, hard work, and dedication. Thank you, Dr. Parker and thanks to your wonderful staff. I am so grateful that you saved my foal. It is just one of the many wonderful things you have done over the years for me and my horses.
