A nice place to take your pet but not an understanding place to work if you have small children. After working there a week and half my son developed hand, foot & mouth on his first birthday and his doctor said it was very contagious and wrote me out of work for two days. I received a call from the hospital manager of the animal hospital saying I was being let go because they needed someone more reliable and having a back up plan for child care is vital. The jobs I have had before I have been at for years at a time I wasn't even given the chance to show I was a reliable employee. I guess I should have took the virus to work with me!

I've been impressed with every visit here so far. All of the staff are friendly and genuinely care. I like that they don't jump straight to costly x-rays and blood work that may not be necessary right away. This tells me that they care about the animals and their owners, not about the dollar.

They were able to take my grand-dog right in and fixed him right up in under 2 hrs. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Instructions for treatment was clear. Prices were every fair. As owner of PDS (Private Dog Sitter), I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Kannapolis.
