We were so anxious about switching to a new veterinary practice upon moving to North Carolina, but we sure lucked out when we found Oak Ridge Animal Hospital, Dr. Tev Barros, Emily, and the entire staff. Not only did they address our concerns about our dog in a very compassionate manner (Dr. Barros even got down on the ground with her to make her feel comfortable), they were all friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. We had toddlers with us, which can be very energetic, but they quickly assured us that they were welcome to walk around, too. They even showed us how to perform some common procedures on our dog and explained everything they were doing ahead of time. We received the BEST care there and cannot wait to switch all of our pets to their care. I would recommend Dr. Barros and the entire team to anyone seeking exemplary care for their pet(s). I even called my parents to rave about how amazing the experience was, which is a rarity when discussing medical treatment. Thank you, Oak Ridge Animal Hospital! :)

Tev Barros is one of the best and most competent Veterinarians I’ve ever interacted with. His staff is also friendly, caring and top-notch. My wife and I take all our animals here and will continue to as long as we are in the Triad. 🙏😀😀

My dog has been going here since he was at the shelter (2019) so I never changed vets. He went in today for a check up and I can not explain how sweet Dr. Tev was to my baby and I ! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They definitely put my mind at ease with a bump I found on my dog. Thank you Dr. Tev, Amanda, Cathy and all the staff for being so caring with Omega ! P.S. Everyone there was incredibly professional, transparent, friendly, and really seem to care about their patients. Dr. Barros was especially welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. He brought us into the lab area and showed us what he was seeing in the tests and explained it to us in terms we could understand. He explained that he really believes owners should be involved in their pet's health and that we could watch him do his work (which no other vet I've been to has ever offered). I was incredibly impressed, and we will be coming back here for all my pets.
