Americana Animal Hospital has been Daisy’s veterinarian since 2019, and I cannot say enough about the care, compassion, and professionalism of Dr. Woods, Carla, Jake, and the entire team. Two years ago, Daisy suffered a horrific injury—her skin was peeled back and the wound was severe. I called on a Wednesday right before closing, panicked and unsure what to do. They didn’t hesitate. They told me to bring her in immediately. That night, Dr. Woods performed four hours of surgery, much of it just removing debris from the wound. What followed was three months of careful healing and an additional surgery to remove necrotic tissue. Today, Daisy is happy, healthy, and living her best life—and I truly believe that without the kindness, skill, and dedication of this veterinary team, she may not be with us. Americana Animal Hospital is everything you want in a vet clinic: knowledgeable, compassionate, responsive, and thorough. They are also affordable, work with pet insurance, explain options clearly, and most importantly, they genuinely care about the animals they treat—not just as patients, but as family members. Dr. Wood and Carla are the type of people that I always enjoy meeting especially when they are responsible for the care of Lady, my baby girl! Imo they are the kind of professionals that keep humanity balanced on the right side of the scale of life. Bless them and I sure said a prayer of thanks after leaving their animal hospital !

I have been with Dr. Wood for over 30 years and he has been nothing but kind and gentle to all my cats and dogs. He has saved their lives many times over. I thank God for Dr. Wood and Carla, they are a very powerful team and I hope and pray they continue to help sick cats and dogs.

Dr. Woods, his wife Carla and his entire staff are truly the most caring, and loving people that want to help with your pets well-being. They saved our dog's life (Bronx) when no one else would help us. He had a Mast tumor (cancer) that grew on his leg. His leg was amputated, now he's living a great life. Thanks, for your Love and Care. Really hard to put into words how thankful we are.... You guys are Awesome...

This place is fantastic, so glad we found them. I’m a longtime Greensboro resident and have tried many vets over the decades depending on my location or animals. Very kind and very reasonable pricing, they were even super quick to email a shot record for me one day prior to boarding my dog. They did a big dental surgery on my little older dog, pulling 9 teeth. His breath is now so fresh we can tolerate his smooches.
