How to Save on Veterinary Costs at North Elm Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr Reyes and her assistants were great! Snow started scooting and had to have her anal glands "expressed". Dr Reyes was quick, professional and I believe Snow felt her caring heart as well. Snow didn't miss a beat and was ready to join her 4 sisters for afternoon treat time (Fancy Feast natural tuna). Thank you Dr Reyes!

It’s obvious that the staff at North Animal Hospital are animal lovers. Dr Matt Borgmann is thorough & diligent about helping us keep them both as healthy as possible & explains everything about their exams & necessary treatments. We have always had great care given to Brandi & Clooney. Kudos to a wonderful loving group of professionals.

Dr. Miranda Lemyre at North Elm Veterinary hospital was there to help transition my furbaby to the rainbow bridge, When my regular vet (Cobb) had no time for her. When I needed them the most! Their love and care was outstanding! They were very helpful to our needs and fast assistance to our Arabella. Now I would not trust no one else with my babies. Thank you Dr Miranda Lemyre!!! You’re a God send!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I boarded my cat (Penny) for the first time last weekend. Everyone (!) from Sarah & Jennifer at check-in, to Cynthia (who sent me a timely update), to Reid (who patiently provided follow-up info) were professional, kind, compassionate and most-understanding. A shout out and thanks to Dr. Claudia Simms, a special vet-extraordinaire. You were all wonderful! Penny and I thank you...
