How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Kramer Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Communication Preferences

Breed Specific Health Considerations
Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

Well....after our prior usual vet didnt have time to see our dog w urgent matter Because Another vet close by permanently closed !!! (WTH, literally a 5 min appt) I was able to get a quick appt w Dr Kramers office. I am hoping he saved a permanent eye problem. Looks better. Be aware they dont take cards. Even after a short response from me about the not knowing about not accepting cards Sorry lil stressed, the office staff remained pleasant and calm. All in all a very good experience.

I was in a jam.... I didn't know you had to have a health certificate to sell a puppy out of state until the last minute. I called my regular vet as well as several others to get done before transport. Nobody would get me in!!! I called them and they gladly squeezed me in. They were a true life saver. Very friendly and great to do business with. They really helped me out.

They are very blunt and customer service is not really their biggest concern. Do not go if you get you feelings hurt because you don't get a smile from the people helping your animals. I've gone to this vet with a severely injured stray, riddled with infected wounds, that was in obvious pain that they euthanized free of charge. I've gone to them with rescue kittens with prolapse problems. I've gone to them with animals with upper respiratory infections, bladder issues, neuterings, spayings, etc. One cat, the day before he was due to be neutered, got a toe stuck in a door and it ripped his claw half out. The vet removed the damaged claw and sewed the foot up free of charge while he neutered my cat. They don't do lab work on site so if you're needing that done I suggest going somewhere else. But this vet's technical knowledge is fantastic and they really do care about the animals they care for.

This is what I found in my news feed. This poor woman lost her baby today because these people would not help her out. She is on a fixed income and couldn't pay outright. She took her baby, her companion and cried for help only to be turned away. I'm ashamed of these people. Wanted to update everyone my Bella has passed away this evening. You know I took her to the vets around here and they all wanted money up front. I even took in personally and showed them that a puppy foot was hanging out and they still refused to see her. I will tell everyone that I went Vet IQ and the bet tried to help her for 2 hours and and she told us she needed a C section and no one would help us wow I can't believe how people are in this town. Ok my rant is iver. Have a great night.
