How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Clinic & Equine Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I'm not for certain of there actual practice but they only provide service for horses. I don't believe it to be there fault but Google is very misleading.

He does great around the horses and knows exactly what hes doing. He knows what to look for and where. He knows how to fix whatever may be wrong. Overall he's a great vet and would definitely recommend him.

This vet did not give me a health certificate for a horse he examined and vaccinated from the state of Arkansas - horse arrived to Missouri in terminal condition and will need to be euthanized by a different vet. Use extreme caution when using this veterinary service; he also could not provide specific lot numbers or manufacturers information for my official records on the vaccinations he gave prior to arrival.

Not enough Stars to rate them. Dr Leonard takes time with you and your horse, explains everything in great detail, makes sure you understand what’s going on. His staff, Morgan & Rhonda are professional, always returned calls ASAP to help with what you need. A true asset to the equine world of Dr’s and staff. Thank you so much! 10 Stars!!

Had an emergency with one of our horses the evening before we were scheduled to leave for a two-month horse camping trip. Doc squeezed us in, diagnosed and treated the problem, encouraged us to watch and learn, explainef everything, reasonable price. What more could one ask for? Five stars.
