How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Ortho Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We looked around at websites for knee braces when our Lexie tore her knee and decided that Animal Ortho Care was the best choice for us. The staff was very quick to respond to questions and assure us that they would do everything needed to ensure the brace would be made to fit. I was unsure if our measurements were right and was told they would contact us after they received everything if they had any doubts before proceeding. Our brace came within a week of ordering and is excellent quality! We have had it for about 8 weeks now and it has been used in the water many times with no issues. The fit is perfect and Lexie doesn’t mind wearing it for her walks and swimming. Also, we don’t see any issues with chafing or sores, which is a relief. I highly recommend Animal Ortho Care for any brace you may need.

I went in for a custom fitting with my bully breed who has a partial cruciate tear. The staff were wonderful. The place is very comfortable for dogs. They were also flexible with my work schedule. Above all, they were honest. They told me that with the geometry of her leg the brace likely wouldn't stay up. They could have made a bunch of money on me but chose to be forthright with me.

We absolutely love our experience with Animal Ortho Care and the brace that was made for our dog Ella. It fits her perfectly and she loves wearing it!! The casting kit was very easy to use and when one of the casts was delivered unusable you quickly sent me another one.

Great product, great service! The custom made brace that I received from Animal Ortho Care has been a great help to my Rottweiler with his CCL injury. It is well made and comfortable for him to wear. The customer service is top notch. They always respond to calls and emails and have been a great help to me. I highly recommend Animal Ortho Care!

The entire process with Animal Ortho Care has been the best! We had already done the TPLO surgery for our lab six years ago and now that she over nine it was hard to justify the new price tag of $5k for the surgery. After she tore her other ACL we kept her crated while I searched and searched for options and came across this brace. The reviews seemed too good to be true. They send you the first box to take measurements/photos and the casting process was super simple but make sure you have some extra hands to keep the dog calm. We received the completed brace in less than a week after mailing the casting. And I love it to be able to see my dog have the support she needs. We typically use it in the evenings after work or weekends when we are outside more. But she has become accustomed to it and it makes me smile to see her walking/running again.
