How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Sheldon Veterinary Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Very good experience. Your probably wondering why not 5 star. Nobody gets 5 star except Olympians. 4 star is my top rating unless you are God like. Went with my daughter and her dog. Vet was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Which leads me to a question why is it a Vet will spend 40 minutes wirh you and your pet and a regular doc will spend 4 minutes. I'm guessing vets care more for their patient than medical docs. Final note Dr. Carla is great, her staff is great while it may seem pricy it's only once a year and your pet is worth it.
