I'm very thankful towards the animal hospital. The staff was very kind and compassionate when talking with me and dealing with Keyra. They let me have as much time as I needed with her before they put her to sleep and as much time after to say my final goodbyes to her. They explained how the process worked and some things that might happen so I shouldn't be too surprised if she jerks or anything. But when they did the first injection, Keyra instantly went. She knew it was her time and didn't fight it. And I sat next to her head the whole time it happened just petting her. She'll be privately cremated and the animal hospital will let us know when her remains are ready. I was told that it included a pawprint mold, but I didn't want it cause Keyra didn't like having her feet touched and I wanted that respected even in death, so they offered a nose print instead, which is better cause Keyra liked nosing people's hands and the like for attention. I'm gonna miss her so much. It's not going to feel the same after 14 and 1/2 years with her.

The staff is always friendly, and knowledgeable. Most importantly I feel they treat us and our dogs like family! I'd recommend Log Cabin to anyone! UPDATE: we’ve been taking our dogs here for years, and really appreciate the staff! This is the best vet in the area. I just love the way they care about our dogs! :)

My Border Collie puppy was playing with a stick in the yard and started choking. I couldn't see anything, but she was clearly struggling like something was stuck in her throat. I couldn't see anything, so I called Log Cabin Animal Hospital and was told to bring her right in. When I arrived, the staff was literally waiting at the door to whisk her away back to an examination room. They ended up having to sedate her (asked my permission first) in order to be able to remove what ended up being a fairly large sliver of wood from way back in her upper pallet which, by the way, was imbedded in such a way that she would never have been able to get out by herself. The staff kept me informed of every step of her treatment, and we ended up leaving with a healthy pup after only about 45 minutes. I was so impressed by their urgency and truly felt they cared about my girl. No more sticks for her!

I can not recommend Dr. Vincent and her team highly enough! Every experience I've had at this office has been professional, thorough, compassionate and quick! It is obvious that every one at log cabin is passionate about animals and the animals can tell too, all of my pets adore the staff there and let them preform everything from nail trims to vaccines with no complaints. I also have to mention how superb the customer service always is, they make communication with them a breeze! If your looking for a skilled, professional and compassionate doctor for your pets Dr. Vincent is the best choice there is in my opinion!
