Dr. Tichy is a very skilled and caring veterinarian. She takes her time with both of my dogs when we come in. The clinic is clean and welcoming. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I found all of the staff to be kind and caring people.

Dr Tichy is wonderful. Resourceful and great with animals, she has helped our pets with care and compassion. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When our cat passed away everyone at AVC we’re so kind. From new companion to senior pets and beyond, we’re so happy to have AVC in Damariscotta!

I am so happy I found Atlantic Veterinary Care! We came from a fear-free facility out west and had struggled to find similar care locally. The staff at AVC were so accommodating and took notes of how to keep my pup comfortable. After an especially nervous visit they sent her out with a tennis ball, her favorite, to keep her relaxed. They respond to concerns and questions quickly, and every single interaction has been friendly and welcoming. Please read the signs when you arrive and be patient, the staff there deserve it! Thank you for all that you do 💜

Dr. Tichy is just plain rude. Dont waste your money coming here for her to ask you, "Well what do you want me to do about it?" Currently looking into a new vet who actually likes animals and their owners. If you have any kind of Pitbull mix DO NOT COME HERE! She will not touch your dog. She speaks to owners like they are stupid all the time. 10/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND DR. TICHY!! ALL THE OTHER STAFF is wonderful and SO nice and helpful. That does not however outweigh 8 years of being a client and Dr. Tichy treating the clients horribly. If Dr. Tichy were to leave the Clinic would FLOURISH. Dr. Tichy needs a lesson in kindness.

This vet clinic came recommended to me by a friend and I could not be happier! Having just moved here from WA, I was hopeful to find a vet office who felt welcoming and gave me the time to talk through my giant dope’s needs. Dr Tichy and her staff did just that! Thank you all so much!
