Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This was a great experience after a devastating week of loosing our other baby to HCM. They were able to fit us in the same say(due to a cancellation). From the time I walked in and saw Loki’s name on their welcome board I knew he was in good hands. They were quick to put a plan in action and were very sensitive to my situation. I would definitely recommend them for you kitty’s cardiologist needs!

I really adore my fur babies kind hearted doctors at the Frederick location! They have kept watch over him for quite some time now, and just recently, Dr Emily, pin pointed and discovered something crucial for my fur babies breathing! Btw I have a 17 year old chihuahua, whom up to his last visit, about a week ago, never had to go on heart medication or etc, thanks to the watchful eyes of these specialists, however he is on a couple different ones now, but one of the ones prescribed was GIVEN TO ME as it was a donation, and that was incredible to me, I didn’t ask if it was a regular thing as I was just stunned! They even allow you to stay in the room with your little one should it aid your fur ones comfort and the procedure! I truly recommend them as they straight up show you on their super fancy machine, what’s up and what’s going on with your fur baby, and what can be done about it in great detail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The compassion and level of caring exceeded my expectations. The staff are true animal lovers and understanding of their behaviors. The doctor and assistants explained clearly and patiently the diagnosis and treatment options. Couldn’t have chosen a better office for my cat’s care. I wish my human doctors were as kind.

I had called to see if my dog could be seen sooner because of an episode he had and they were able to see us next day. All of the staff were friendly and communicative. My pup tolerated the exams well thanks to the staff. The Vet immediately explained the findings and made me feel more comforted with the diagnosis.
