How to Save Money at All About Animals Veterinary Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
This clinic, staff and vet were very professional, knowledgeable and expeditious to my pet's emergency. I came in the door with my pet in an emergency crisis in my arm, he was truly between life and death in the moment. I ask for help and the staff immediately took him from me and took him to the back with NO questions ask. I had never been there before. I was scared and looking for a vet, driving like a bat out of xxxx. The first place the vet was out to lunch, All About Animals was the second and I'm so thankful they were the one's we found. I'm sure my absolute best friend was on his last breath when we pulled in, he just fell over on his side and looked terrible. Like I said, I rushed in they took him immediately and they saved his life !!! I didn't mind paying his bill of 825.00 and 250.00 and the Animal ER for his overnight stay that was necessary. He was worth it. We have to slow pay some utilities for a month or two, pawn or borrow. The point is, I know the vet can be expensive but they do need to be paid for what they do when they do it. They are saving your pet that you love as family. They are the first, second, third bill and so on that people WILL NOT pay after services have been done. They have a practice to keep open and bills of their own to pay. If they aren't paid, then we don't have great, caring vets !! Just think about it. Thanks you All About Animals, and Mickey thanks you. Kindest Regards Lee Chester

They saved my dog Chimera's life. They got her in immediately and kept me updated the entire time she was there. They listened to all of my concerns and explained everything so I could understand. She doesn't usually like strangers but she LOVED the employees. I will be taking her daughter to this vet as well from now on! I will never use a different vet. You can tell they care and aren't just there for money. 5/5 PAWS🐾

We can't express enough how grateful we are to Dr. House and the entire team at All About Animals for the exceptional care they provided to our sweet cat, Penelope. From the moment we arrived, we felt heard, supported, and confident that Penelope was in the best hands possible. Penelope had stopped eating and drinking for almost three days, and we were understandably worried about her health. Dr. House quickly diagnosed her with a temporary condition and reassured us that with the right care, she’d be back on track. The compassion and expertise they showed throughout her treatment truly made all the difference. From Mindy at the front desk, who was warm and welcoming, to the entire team who cared for Penelope overnight, we felt a sense of trust and comfort every step of the way. We appreciated the regular phone calls with updates, which helped ease our minds. After Penelope returned home, the team went above and beyond by following up with daily check-ins to ensure she was recovering well. This level of dedication and personalized care is rare, and we felt it deeply. Without Dr. House and her incredible team, we honestly don't know if Penelope would be with us today. They not only saved her life, but they also gave us peace of mind during an incredibly stressful time. We cannot thank them enough and will absolutely be back for future visits. It’s clear that All About Animals is more than just a veterinary clinic – it's a place where your pets are treated like family. Thank you, Dr. House, Mindy, and everyone at All About Animals, for everything you did for Penelope. You have our deepest gratitude. If you're looking for a veterinary team that truly cares, look no further than Dr. House and her amazing team at All About Animals.
