How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Health Center
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The staff is always so helpful and friendly. We are very happy to find them. They also accept our pet insurance which was hard to find anywhere in Wichita that did. They know our pup by name and always seem genuinely happy to see her. The front desk gal is the sweetest. I have to talk(get) to her every month to have my pups anxiety pills refilled. Also, just had a tumor removed from my girls ear and they were very upfront about prices and procedure's before the surgery. There were no surprises at the end.

I actually liked bringing my dog here at the beginning of. The dr and staff in the back were nice at all the visits till the last one. The front desk girl…totally different story! She was constantly rude. I complained about her and nothing happened. So I told them I’ll go to another Vet and they didn’t care at all. That’s when more rudeness came out.

From beginning to end this was a horrible experience for me and my brand new puppy. She was clearly hurt from their roughness. Never got a refill on meds or a heads up for the appointment. Even though I would not put her through that again anyway they still failed to do their job. Save your pup some time they are very rude people.

DON'T guys, just DON'T. Too many bad things to say. Go anywhere else, pay whatever you have to. It was unsafe, unfriendly, told to hold our dogs to let other non-friendly dogs by us. I couldn't wait to leave. I wish I would've read the reviews first.

Terrible service period. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment, when they double and triple schedule appointments at the same time as mine. Took almost 40 mins to see the vet for the exam then I walked out the door after being there for 50mins and the vet did her 2 minute exam. When doing the exam, didn’t thoroughly look her over and I had to point out where the areas were she was having skin problems. This vet is a joke, they charge a deposit because they provide terrible service and are overpriced. I will continue taking her to auburn hills even though I have to drive to the other side of town, this place is worthless.
