I can not give enough credit to these loving caring kind patient people! Every single one everytime my anxious dog came in they treated her like no other and loved her unconditionally. Today they helped us take sassy out of her misery. They were gentle and kind. This clinic is truly a blessing and like no other. Your pet is not just a number or a client. Your animal is special to them because they know they are special to you! I wouldn't recommend anyone else or give such high praise. I've never been to a vet like them over the 29 years I've owned dogs! They are one of a kind

I needed urgent care for my cat and they got me a same day appointment within minutes. Once I got there, they made me feel welcome and like they really cared about my pet's and my comfort. They acted with urgency but also with gentleness and kindness. They made sure my cat was comfortable as much as possible. They did their best in soothing him while performing the examination simultaneously. They never forced my cat into any position before exhausting other gentler options which made me feel like they truly cared about my cats emotional health as well as his physical health. ❤️🩹 During diagnosis Dr. Nick was humble and down-to-earth, sitting on the floor explaining my cat's diagnosis thoroughly and concisely. He made the information easy to understand while also emphasizing the important pieces to remember. He was patient with my questions, answered them with demonstrations and with scientific knowledge. He aided me in the clarity of aftercare instructions that prioritized the comfort of my cat. I was really happy with how he didn't dismiss my concerns or questions. The staff was incredibly understanding and forthcoming with estimates in prices before they asked me to approve some treatments. They never rushed me into a decision, allowing me to make a private phone call alone in the examination room, which was a great show of respect in my opinion. When a high priority emergency visit came, they immediately informed me that my wait time would become longer. They made a point to ask me if I was okay waiting longer than usual inside the room or if I was more comfortable in the lobby or if I needed to leave for errands. I've never been to a vet where they made me and my pet feel like we have lives outside of their office; they respected our time as valuable and precious. My urgent care visit only lasted about 2 hours from checking in, examination, treatment, and to payment which was incredibly convenient and emotionally relieving for me. I'm really glad we have such an amazing vet staff in small town Rensselaer. They staff was extremely polite, knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, expedited, and very kind. They made us feel important and valued and not just like they wanted to get on with the next paitents to get the day over like human and animal hospitals do. Even the kind and welcoming receptionists made sure we had all our questions answered and our resources available before leaving. Even though the day started out stressful and emotionally hectic with my cat's health, as soon as we arrived, I felt better that we were under their care. Thank you PetCare team for all your hard work and kindness. 😊 Hope to revisit under less urgent conditions!

A gigantic thank you to Dr. Janice and everyone at Rensselaer Pet Care today and always. We and our beautiful pup were treated with so much care and kindness, on literally zero notice. They've been there for us more than once this year, sadly, and, for many, many years. We truly appreciate you, your expertise, and your hearts. We know you love our babies as much as we do. I think you've actually seen us cry over the years more than nearly anyone else we know. Thank you so much - you are truly a gift to our community. 💖

These gals are amazing!! They took the absolute best care of our girl Cocoa Bean while we took our annual vacation. If you're looking for a boarding place, this is for you! If we board again this is where I trust taking Cocoa, they're the best!
