How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Parrett Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I love taking my pets to Parrett! Amber and Ashley at the front desk are always friendly, helpful, and informative! The impression when you first walk in the door sets the tone of the whole visit and these ladies never let me down! Exams are so smooth and efficient with Jessica and Dr Fry even though my Pomeranian is a complete spaz! Grooming services are also top notch! Jenny does a wonderful job maintaining my dog’s crazy fur! Overall it’s a great experience every time! Thank you for taking great care of my babies 🥰

I was searching for a new Vet as I moved a long way from my Vet of 35+ years. Parrett Vet made this a smooth and easy transition as I feel very comfortable and staff is very attentive! I have found my new Vet for my Cats and cant express the relief of finding a new Vet that listens. Freckle & Princess Penelope give you a 5 Star & Thumbs up!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Parrett! Dr. Frye is excellent along with her staff! They take very good care of both my fur babies, and I have never found a Vet that compares! Their follow thru is excellent, and they give me the piece of mind I need. I travel 30 minutes just to visit Parrett, and wouldn't have it any other way. I have been going to Parrett for over 20 years, and I am VERY satisfied with their services. I also board my pets there, and their grooming services is impeccable!!!! Thank you Parrett, you DO it for me, and Paris & Rome says thank you as well!!!!!!

We have used Parrett since our very fist bully in 2008. Currently they are just under an hour away and we make the trip every time. They are kind, attentive and excellent with all of our dogs including our rescue bullies with special needs. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND for any of your fur babies. 10 out of 10

Service at Parrett used to be reliable and thorough. Recently, it appears that they have accepted too many patients to keep up. Dr. H no longer informs; he just tells. He argued with me twice as I tried to talk and gave me inappropriate information about the weight of my dog. His main goal seemed to be getting back out of the door that he came through, as quickly as possible. This, unfortunately, has happened the last three visits…no excuse. Needless to say, I am not happy with our last few appointments and we don’t feel that this is the best fit anymore. We will be moving to a new establishment.
