How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Fort Wayne Pet Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The staff have always been fantastic and knowledgeable- our vet specifically. She was able to recommend an injectable arthritis medicine that is newly on the market in the US and it has changed our fur baby's quality of life drastically! He is able to zoom around and play with younger dogs, jump up and down off our bed, and he is even chewing bones again- all things he hasn't done in years. So thankful for their caring team!!

I have enjoyed the care of this hospital. Our cats see Dr. Caitlyn who is also friendly and knowledgeable. The wait can be long after you check in just be aware. Personally did not enjoy the care of Dr. Marcus.

Everyone is very sweet and its really clean inside. In addition to that the staff is wonderful. The last time I went I was lucky enough to be put in "the old room." It's a retro wallpapered delight. Reminds you of great grandmothers place!

Last September my boyfriend and I took our boxer Athena here to get her ears cropped. We were both very nervous since this was the first time ever having this procedure done but as soon as Dr. Serena came in and started to explain the process to us and what to expect we immediately knew our dog was in good hands. We always get compliments on her ears. We will gladly drive 6 hours (we are from Ohio) in the future to have Dr. Serena cropp our dog's ears. She is amazing!!
