How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VCA All Pet Emergency Center
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I wouldn't go here if you had another choice. Everyone seemed nice and knowledgeable, but for an "emergency clinic" I wasn't made to feel like my cat was even kinda a priority. Even with an appointment I had to wait 2 and a half hours to be seen. And this all says nothing about the absolutely ridiculously high prices. Again HUGE bummer because the staff they have are very lovely, but i would just either wait for your normal vet to be open or drive to another towns emergency clinic.

I arrived at the clinic around 630a. Collin and Summer were very kind and compassionate during my sweet baby Bean's last moments. It's never a good time having to euthanize a pet but they did everything they could to make things go as smoothly as possible. Thank you so much for everything. It really meant a lot to me.

Just wanted to thank everyone at the clinic on Sunday, October 29th, particularly the vet and the vet tech ( I'm so sorry- I was a mess and cannot recall their names). My cat Sophie needed to be put to sleep, and everyone was so kind and compassionate, and the vet explained the process so well. Thank you for making my sweet baby's last moments as quick, peaceful, and painless as it was. I will be forever grateful for your help and understanding, and for allowing me to spend time with her before, during and after the procedure. You made one of the worst days of my life just a little bit easier, and Sophie and I were both in good hands.

My senior cat wasn't doing well. I knew he was on his way out. They told me everything that was going on and the cost of everything. It was pricey but not an issue. They made sure I had everything I needed. My baby will be missed. My first time having to put a pet down.

All I have to say is the only reason I would come back is because there was one woman working here who actually cared about you, your dog, and your pocket. But other than that the vets and the front desk especially are just awful. Front desk doesn't even look at you they just hand you a clipboard. Also, when we were paying we asked her to repeat how much it was going to be because of course this place charges you 1000 dollars if your dog breathes and she snapped at us. You think they have all these signs talking about being compassionate they would atleast pretend to be decent people. Also, if you can wait to take your dog to another vet that is open do it please or just drive to Louisville. Just take my word.
