How to Save on Veterinary Costs at De Motte Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Very compassionate when I had to put my dog down. Dr. Smith really knows what he's talking about, an super friendly. They got my future business.

My elderly dog was sick when I brought her here. Although they could not save her from the very aggressive cancer that she had, they gave me wonderful and compassionate care. When her condition worsened, I called and they got me right in. Although it broke my heart the time had come to say goodbye my dog was suffering. Dr Smith and the staff were wonderful with my entire family. They gave my baby a peaceful death. They earned my trust and business in my crisis and have become my regular vet for my other dog.

Prices are pretty fair but other than that I think they can treat our animals a little bit better than what they do my dog has one more appointment there and then I think I'm going to find a different vet

Price should not matter when you want to take care of your pet. I brought Mickey, our recue Chihuahua mix for his first check up and evaluation. He is an older dog who unfortunately has had a decade of neglect and mean owners. We rescued him to give him love and a big back fenced in yard to play in.Most loving dog that you have ever seen.Plus....there now is a Taco Bell next door......remember Gidget...the Taco Bell dog....hope this helps
