I brought my rescue kitten in for an examination after he was near death due to anemic shock from his problem with fleas. It is very common and hard to catch. We had been treating him regularly for fleas as he was rescued from under a woman’s porch and nothing had been working. We brought him here and he treated my family with absolute disrespect and blamed me for his condition, which is titled SUDDEN severe crisis. He never did any further exam to see if something else could be wrong with my baby, just sent me home with dextrose to give him every 30 minutes. I did just that, and he was moving around really well until this morning, where I found my cats litter box full of worms, and my suffering cat once again. He passed away this morning because he never finished the examination on my cat. because “it’s basically too late anyway.” All he needed was dewormer. But you couldn't bother yourself to do that. I called him this morning and confronted him about it, and the only thing he had to say to me was that I shouldn’t have waited so long. It was my fault that he didn’t fully examine my cat, and we lost him to worms. He showed no remorse, just reiterating that this was my fault somehow. He doesn’t care about you or your pets. Just the money.

I have been taking my animals there for several years. Dr. Eckiss is professional and kind. His patients are his first priority and their families are treated with respect and care as well. I highly recommend you try Richland Veterinary Center for your furry friends.

Doc is great and really cares about the animals he's treating. Takes the time to explain options and doesn't push the expensive stuff like some other vets I've dealt with. Every thing is clean and fresh smelling.

The vet at this office... made me cry the whole time I was in there. I have a 5 year old cat that had blood in his urine, so I took him for his first time nothing in his bladder to check. Sent me home with a do it yourself syringe. So, I finally got it, took the urine sample in to that rude, cold hearted..man and he said to me, let me see if I can find something horribly wrong with your cat!!? Come to find out, he told me my cat might be going into renal failure. Took him somewhere else and he has an inflammation of his bladder making him have blood in his urine!! Wouldn't want my worst enemy take an animal here!!!
