Animal Care Center of Barrington & Dental Referral Service (previously Barrington Animal Hospital)

Since relocating to Barrington in 2022, I've entrusted the Animal Care Center of Barrington with the care of my beloved Border Terrier. I am consistently impressed by the exceptional level of care they provide. Every staff member I've encountered has been not only professional but also warm and welcoming. It's evident that they genuinely care about the well-being of every pet they serve. The veterinarians and veterinary technicians are highly knowledgeable, and what truly sets them apart is their dedication to ensuring pet owners, like me, fully understand and are comfortable with the treatment plans they recommend. Leaving each appointment, I have absolute confidence that my cherished dog is receiving the highest standard of care available. I can't express my gratitude enough to the Animal Care Center of Barrington for their unwavering commitment to the health and happiness of our four-legged family members. Thank you!

Dr. Cody Mullins & tech - Michelle ♡ were so patient & through with my mammas boy Westie... "Winston Churchill". The initial exam was exceedingly more reasonable than expected. ( which, for me 😕 has to be a factor when choosing pet services ) Dr. Mullins actually did labs/diagnostic tests on the spot. Which saved us time & $. Immediately, the tech, Michelle, administered Winston w the most up to date therapeutic RXtherapy. ( and my dog willingly " let her!") And that..... Never! happens. It can be intimidating for owners & thier pets to walk into a new Vet practice, knowing there are other dogs/cats in the waiting area. The reception staff here were welcoming , patient & relaxed. They just 'roll'd- with-it,' when their dog patients got LOUD or came in nervously & pee'd ... or didn't exactly behave like 5☆☆☆☆ pets. 🤔 Id rate the entire staff here = definitely 5☆☆☆☆☆. They universally treated animals & and their owners with equal dignity and respect. This place is incredibly impressive. EVERYONE in the Lake & McHenry County area with a four legged family member should definitely come ✔️out this State of the Art- Veterinary Care - Hospital/ Training Center/ Grooming /Pet Boarding and very cool Day Care facility. It is Slick!! My dog has been to groomers & doggie boarding & dog parks... all over the country. And nothing ... remotely compares to what you have right here in ✅️Barrington IL My fur-baby is already recovering & and feeling better, already! Thank you.

I really don’t even know where to begin, there are no words to truly encompass the amount of compassion, and support that I have received from Barrington animal care center. I have 140 pound great Dane that likes to think that he’s 10 pounds. I was recommended to go there by one of my bosses, first impression was that the facility in general was absolutely breathtaking and very welcoming. I began my journey with them with having, him in daycare only. Immediately I was able to fall in love with the entire daycare staff. Rachel specifically has been nothing but an absolute support answering every single question always having a report for me just giving me such peace of mind that I can go to Work and he is safe. Her entire team is easily my favorite people. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that he almost likes going to daycare more than being at home alone. But that doesn’t fail to mention the entire front desk staff who I have had the pleasure to get to know very well just because I am there as often as I am. Everyone there has the most empathetic and kind tendencies I have ever experienced in my life. The customer service is completely completely out of this world. They always have such a good time at work and it just transpires into how they are. Maureen, Lisa, Alondra, Riley, legitimately EVERYONE that is up front is incredible. I cannot scream from the mountaintops enough how much I love this place. I will drive states away in order to be able to be one of their patients. Do not go absolutely anywhere else for any type of veterinary care. The bedside manner is out of this world. The customer service is an immaculate, and you just feel very comfortable and safe there. It’s not about the money with them. They care about your animal and they care about you

We were new customers here, we had a great spot in the city we went to but recently moved to the area. We tried a place in palatine but we weren't super thrilled. Animal care center of Barrington was a nice change compared to the last vet we went to. They were more affordable and also I feel that they took our cats needs into consideration better than the last place. We ended up having to put our cat down after sharing our love for many years, they were very helpful and thoughtful through the whole process. I can't recommend them enough. All the staff was great and make sure our kitty had the best care possible.

Thank you to Barrington Animal care center for always being available to get in. The staff is absolutely amazing! You walk in to a bunch of smiling faces. They go through every aspect of diagnosis and offer options to treat. I can’t say enough good things about this animal hospital!
