This place is amazing! One of my dogs (the lab)is a huge pain in the @ss, but they are very patient with her, which is extremely appreciated. The staff has always been courteous and friendly. I absolutely recommend for your veterinary needs.

First visit..Vet and staff were very friendly. My Odie (boxer / Mastif mix) does not warm up easily to new people. She liked the staff from the first meet.

My husband and I have been taking our dog Alfie here since 2016. We have always been so happy with our experience. Alfie has always been well taken care of, and the cost is very reasonable.

We put down our 16 year old family pet today. It was one of the hardest days of my life. The level of compassion, care, and sympathy shown us by Dr. Wilson and the staff was deeply appreciated. As hard as the experience was, they helped lessen the pain a little and were very thorough in explaining the process and answering our questions, in addition to being kind and reassuring us that our decision was the best thing for our sweet puppy. He is at peace and so are we.

I have been bringing my dogs to Dr Wilson for over 13 years now. I recently moved to Ankeny but still make the drive to Grimes Plaza Vet. Dr. Wilson and his staff have always been fantastic to work with. When my 16 yr old boy Jack started to decline severely, I reached out and Chris returned my call. He was very compassionate and got me in the same day for end of life services. Dr Wilson was also very compassionate during the process. Additionally, I recently reached out to them in regards to a rabies vaccine for my pug. She was due for her vaccine before they had an opening so rather than leave me hanging they were nice enough to recommend a place I could go which ultimately saved me in the long run since I was then able to get a 3 yr rabies vaccination. I could go on and on about good experiences I've had with Grimes Plaza Vet and I recommend them every chance I get!
