How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Central Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have taken my pets to Central Animal Hospital for many years. Their love and superb medical attention my dogs received is extraordinary. The whole medical team are highly professional and their level of veterinarian experience is incomparable. The best animal hospital in the southeast

I wrote this as a review on Yelp about them and wanted it here as well. I absolutely had the best service ever. My cat was made very comfortable and he was as relaxed as any animal can be. Even when my dear cat was given two shots he never fought because they made him feel so relaxed that he was purring. I was made comfortable as well. Very friendly staff from the moment you enter this establishment. You feel the warmth and genuine love and care everyone here has for all animals. Now one of the most important part to some is the cost unfortunately, but I was so surprised how reasonable their cost was. I am blown away and will sing their praises. I have found a place where I feel great to take my animals for all their medical needs and means allot to me. I want to thank Cara Hammons for being so gentle and loving to my perts. I also would love to point out that Ashley at the awesome Cat Cafe downtown is who referred me there. Thank Ashley for helping me find this place. We are new in Savannah and had no time yet to establish us our regular veterinarian. Now we have the best one in town. You deserve 10 stars.

I booked a late appointment because of work. It’s the only free time this busy person has. The staff was nice and friendly the wait not so great. They were very busy. My Piper was glad to see her veterinarian ! I was happy that her ten year “senior” check up was all good news. I had never taken her to the vet, that was always the responsibility of her owner ... my X wife who left earlier this year and told me nothing about the fur baby. Luckily they sent out a reminder card and that’s when I scheduled the appointment. They helped me fill out the ownership papers and all is good for my fur baby. I like Central Animal Hospital !
