TLDR; Doctor Jackson and his staff are hands down the best and most caring vet/veterinary assistances in Atlanta. For the first part of his life, our cat Oliver went to a different vet in the midtown area for general checkups, but when Oliver’s health began to take a nose dive due to his hidden neurological condition, it was clear they did not care. We ended up driving to Soft Paws since it was the closest to our home, and even though it is listed as by appointment only, they instantly let us in and saw us immediately. Doctor Jackson worked with us for the next couple months in trying to navigate our cat’s hidden illness and recommended us to a specialist. The Soft Paws team also always answered my thousands of phone calls of questions and updates on his health with love and respect. Unfortunately, Oliver’s neurological condition was one that couldn’t be fixed, and we decided a death with dignity was better than letting him suffer or be confused on why his legs were no longer working. The night we decided to put Oliver down was a difficult one, but the entire team at Soft Paws was nothing but comforting and understanding of our pain. They walked us through every step and ensured that Oliver had the best and most comfortable experience ever. Although we do not have pets now and we probably will not be ready for a while, Doctor Jackson will forever be our family’s veterinarian for as long as he is practicing. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found him during this difficult time and how grateful we are for him making a traumatic experience easier for all parties involved. If you are looking for a vet in the Atlanta area, I promise you will love Soft Paws.

Our experience w/Dr. Jackson and his staff was pleasing and professional from the consultation to the pick-up of and payment for my 14yo female Chihuahua's surgery. Dr. Jackson thoroughly explained to me what was happening, treatment options, and cost beforehand. They were prompt with sending her estimates, bloodwork results, and were very accommodating to my work schedule. When we returned to have her stitches removed, the staff started talking to her and greeting her by name. I didn't even have to say it. That truly warmed my heart and just confirmed that my fur-daughter was in great care. Her recovery went well, she's eating good, and we're back on track at home.. I have already recommended Soft Paws to a friend of mine for her fur-son's surgery. They've scheduled! I suggest you take your fur-kid too if your reading my comment. Finding a good vet for your pet can be stressful especially when they’re sick. Thankfully, I was able to book an appointment with Dr. Jackson to have my dog Oreo, seen quickly. Dr. Jackson and his staff were very kind, patient, thorough and knowledgeable. The office was also very clean and professional. I appreciate the affordable pricing, and that they went over everything with me prior to completing any services or payments to ensure I was comfortable. I’m very grateful that I was able to book an appointment with him. I 100% recommended Dr. Jackson to anyone looking for a veterinarian.

Dr. Jackson and his staff are incredible. I had an urgent matter and he was able to fit me in. Upon arrival, he examined my dog and was extremely thorough in his explanations. He didn’t mind that I asked a ton of questions and I could tell that he really cared about my dog’s situation. Dr. Jackson has a pleasant disposition and it’s evident that he can be trusted. I will absolutely come back.

Our Experience with Ms.Tori was amazing, She was very understanding & and a big help . She was also very knowledgeable. Definitely 10/10 recommend. If you’re new here , I would ask for her. Me and my wife will definitely be back whenever we have an issue with our pets & will personally ask for her. We were in a tough situation and she was very compassionate and considerate.
