How to Save Money at Paws 2 Help Inc.

Schedule Regular Vet Visits

One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.

Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions

Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.

Pet Insurance

Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Getting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask

Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:

Tell me about your experience with [pet type].

Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.

How do you handle emergencies?

You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.

How do you communicate with pet owners?

Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.

Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?

Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.

Do you have any questions for me about my pet?

This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.

Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?

Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

I absolutely love this place ❤️ they are up front, along the way, off all the costs. Care is exceptional and competent ❤️ I also must admire all of the staff, they are all very kind towards animals and clients...even the Karen's that sometimes walk through the door. There is usually a wait, even for scheduled appointments as emergencies happen, but the place is absolutely worth it. You get upfront info and good care for your pup, and no judgements. I have not met a staff member nor vet that did not have exceptional bedside manners towards my dogs ❤️ clearly the culture is that of passionate dog people...it's not a job but a passion to everyone there ❤️ how lucky for our dogs I have been coming to this place for years with my babies, and although the vets rotate and change; the care never does ❤️

Man this place really cares about your cat. These women and men are so wonderful. I felt so good Leaving my cat Little’s there. It’s more than a few of the other place I have been to, but the cost is worth it. It is still cheap! They also, for no cost, microchip and do the rabies shot and certificate. If they find any fleas, they administer capstar, they were just so many things they did that made it just perfect. And they were on top! Excellent’

Thank you for saving our girl Pebbles when she needed emergency Pyometra surgery. Everyone was sooo incredibly nice, helpful, understanding and caring. We were sent there by our vet, as the surgery for our baby needed is quite expensive. Yes the cost here was extremely affordable!! I even felt I had better care here for our dog then other places that charge double for things and speak highly of themselves at times just to advertise. They really want to help your pets here and you! They have many options for payments if need and will work with you in situations. We are so so thankful for them and their care. Our baby had successful surgery yesterday and already back to herself. Follow up care is amazing as well. They don’t miss a step. Be ready of course to wait when you are there, they are a very very busy facility and I understand why, from the prices, to accepting many times walk ins and the care your pet gets who would not want to go there! Worth the wait! We will be bringing our 2 other dogs for vet care and will be recommending them to everyone we know. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR US AND DO!

We would like to say Thank you for an amazing experience so far with our Doggie. We brought him in a couple weeks ago with concerns about a mass he had. From the moment we walked in we felt very comfortable and very well taken care of everything. From Check in the day of our Appointment (booking online is the best way to do so ), waiting time, welcoming us listening to our concerns, examination, Diagnoses and Surgery care all in all the care at Paws 2 Help Inc. is great. We highly recommend to bring your pet here. The website describes very good all their services they offer. Email communication is the best if you have any questions and concerns, we received responses quickly Dr Blair and his whole team are very friendly and professional from day one and followed up with us at all times , explained everything well and costs up front were also discussed. It has been a great experience and care . Thank you from Boss 🤎and his Family .

Lashed Out

Today Thursday, October 5, 2023…I would like to thank the entire staff at Paws2Help. From the reception desk, nurses, assistants, doctors, to checkout, everyone here is phenomenally caring and polite. Real veterinarians that listen to you and respond to your fur baby’s needs. We had Dr. Chadwick who was very knowledgeable with my 17yo senior dog’s health condition and got straight to the point with his health. Dr. Chadwick, thank you so much for taking the time, understanding, explanation and excellent care for my “monster” as with everyone’s furbabies! The love and enjoyment you have for what you do shines through. Also, the nurse that assisted Dr. Chadwick was also exceptional. I thought I had my dog’s up to date health records from another facility but I didn’t, and she called the other facility right then and there… above and beyond work ethics, thank you so much for all of your help today! I do apologize for not remembering your name as I did try to call the facility. This animal clinic, Paws 2 Help Inc is as affordable as they mentioned in their mission statement -provides low-cost veterinary services for dogs and cats in West Palm Beach, Jupiter and surrounding areas. We are committed to offering high-quality treatment and care at an affordable cost to ensure your pet’s health and well-being. Thank you, Aimee
