How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Crossroads Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Love Dr. Wagner & Maria! By far, the best vet in town. He cares about your pet as if it was his own.

Dr. Wagner is the best! He treated our Maggie. His prices are very reasonable. We had our Maggie spayed and her shots done. She did very well after surgery and has fully recovered. Thank you Dr. Wagner for taking such good care of our girl!

Like any millennial dog mom my dogs are my children. So you can imagine how frightened I was when my 10 month old puppy’s leg swelled 3x it’s normal size and turned a dark maroon color. I reached out to a local vet Crossroads animal hospital for help. I knew by the time I could get there it’d be after hours so I was panicked. Bill and Maria waited for us. They truly care about the animals. Also side note they are great at calming down hysterical doggy Moms. They quickly assessed the situation and had a plan of action. With 30+ plus years of experience you couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable veterinarian. Turns out my dog was bit by a spider....ouch! They had to keep him for two nights. While they had him they were in constant contact with text and pictures. I couldn’t have asked for better communication. I’m pleased to say Kona, my puppy is on his way to a speedy recovery. They love their fur clients. What I want from a vet is someone who treats my pet like their own and that is exactly what they do. If you are not taking your pets here you’re doing them a great disservice.

I have had years of experience with different Vets...I was a vet tech for a few years as well and Dr. Wagner is the best vet i have found in Florida. He doesn't price gouge you and he does an excellent job taking care of your pet. He is loving to the animal and for once in Florida i found a vet who cares about the animal and not the bottom dollar. He is the type of vet that went into this to care for animals not to make a million dollars. If you are not using him as a vet in Florida then i pity you.

They saved my baby's life. Great doctor and assistant. I've been taking my dog there for about 10 years and they're always very good with him, even when he's not good with them.
