How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Blue Pearl Emergency Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This was once a wonderful place. Had a great Vet Kim Fiore. A great front desk manager Kathy. A wonderful groomer Miranda. Well, the Vet is gone. Front desk manager gone. Rotation of rent a vet. I want the same Vet each time i need a Vet. Not a rent a Vet for the day ?? I want to speak to a office manager. A real office manager. My dog had a herniated disc and a new purple haired girl Jessica was more concerned with upcoming shots my dog needed$$$ I won't be back for Vet services. The new office manager is Jinx. No last name known by staff. I do think Miranda is the best groomer. I do hope I can continue with her but.......

Thank you so much for being so kind. Lucy was the best dog ever... Thank you for being so compassionate and thoughtful. If it's time for you to let go, it's awful, no matter what. But our doc really was kind and thoughtful. She took her time and explained everything, even though it broke my heart. 1000% recommended.

Cannot recommend this ER at all. In fact, if you are forced to use this clinic in the event of an emergency, approach everything you are told with skepticism and follow your gut. I had an extremely bad experience here with my dog and it is my opinion (unfortunately at this point it's my word against hers) that the vet lied to me about the treatment she gave my dog. It's a long story, but I do have evidence that at the least, she made amendments to my dog's medical record over one month after the fact - without making any notation that the records had been amended. This is not ethical. Had I followed this vet's recommendation, my dog would have been euthanized that day, which was not the appropriate recommendation. Please do your own research when making life altering choices for your pet here. I personally would never return to this facility because I no longer trust them. (Note that my first experience was with Internal Medicine and was much more positive experience, but based on the last visit I will not recommend Blue Pearl).

Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The vets called twice a day with updates and answered all of my many questions. They even checked in via text with detailed information on how to hook up fluids. The cost was extremely high but worth every penny to know my baby was in good hands.

Scam artists disguised as Doctors who take advantage of overly emotional people. Take your dog to their normal vet or find a better emergency vet. Didn’t even receive a call to find out how my rapidly declining dog was. He’s fine and alive.
