This group of employees here were absolutely amazing. We brought our English Bulldog Brutus in for heat exhaustion and they immediately rushed him into a room and got him on IVs and provided the best care possible. He has made a full recovery and we credit them for that along with North Miami Beach lifeguards. The cost was very reasonable as well. Thanks again for your services.

I hate to give this place three stars because Dr. Carmona is absolutely incredible. He is so caring and understanding. He is truly great with the dogs. He takes the time to answer all your questions and is thorough in his explanations. HOWEVER, Dr. Newman is terrible at her job. She is scared of big dogs and tries to cover it up by saying her best friend has a big dog. At first I thought it was just me and I was bring too quick to judge and I have to understand big dogs make some people be on higher alert. This continued through my visits and I watched her do it to other people with big dogs too. Not only that, but she is dismissive and condescending. If it weren’t for her I would still be a taking all my animals. Moral of the story don’t go if they schedule with Dr. Newman.

Today we had a recheck/ consult with Dr.Eliana Newman with our fur baby “Deebo “. To say Deebo is one of the greatest loves of our family is not saying enough❤️ Dr. Newman has to be the most compassionate veterinarian we have ever met and believe me we have seen a lot over the past 40 Years. We had questions regarding Deebos end of life plan and Dr Newman was compassionate, truthful and gave us advice with tender care as though Deebo was her own . I cannot say enough about her nurse who was by her side also giving us comfort . If you need an honest caring veterinarian I highly advise going here to Surfside Vet on Miami Beach!
