Central Florida Veterinary Hospital

We took both our dogs Tues for a 10 am new client visit. Arrived at 10, checked in at 10 and no other clients were there. In the next 30 minutes 4 or 5 arrivals, many of which were called back but we weren't. At 10:35 advised receptionist we were leaving. She offered another appointment on Friday at 2 pm. She stated we would be first after lunch break and wouldn't have to wait. We arrived at 1:55 Friday and checked in with no other patients there. 3 or 4 arrived after us. One of them was taken back. A sweet young lady took us back to a room about 2:15. By 2:35 no sign of anyone. The sweet young lady popped in to say we would see a tech "soon". (No mention of when we might see a vet). At that point I told her this would probably not work out for us and thanked her and left. The premises was very clean and the reception ladies were nice.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Case Erwin recently. He is the kindest, gentlest and most knowledgeable veterinarian that I have ever had treat my dogs. Both my dogs are doing well thanks to his expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Case Erwin for your pets care.

I love the vets and the staff at both Central Florida and Belleview Veterinary Hospitals. They have gone above and beyond for my animals on several occasions. I can't say enough good about them, and I can't thank them enough for all they do.

If you value your pet's life don't come here! Had to wait almost 3 weeks to get bloodwork results on a senior cat to be told "We only have one vet that reads and interprets the results and she isn't here full-time ". Then another week to get an appointment for what the tech said would be treatment. The agreed plan de flea, deworm, start meds for kidney issues, and weekly vitamin shots for 4 weeks. Upon arrival for appointment the vet advised no treatment would be given except flea meds as I refused to give my 15 year old cat who is severely underweight, anemic, and having kidney issues a Rabies vaccination. Per Florida statue a vet can waive the Rabies shot due to age, infirmy, or sickness of the said animal. How can you determine if a pet is healthy to get a Rabies shot if the vet refuses to do a physical exam before giving a vaccine? Also the vet then stated the kidney issues weren't that bad and she wouldn't put on pills yet. Too many conflicting information from vet to tech to owner. Ridiculous policy on vaccines. No regard for pets well being!!!!
