How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Miami Veterinary Center
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Listen people ... Not a fancy place If you want fancy go to another place. Chaotic. Messy. Loud But doctors and staff are nice , and were very kind to me and my pet in a very awful situation I was having at that time. Also price wise are VERY decent and affordable So, you want fancy stuff go anywhere else. Want good price and human attention I liked it here. Mostly latin doctors but know what they are doing Works perfectly for me

After 22 years as a dog breeder I was lucky to met Dr. Morales who is in my opinion the best reproduction veterinarian in Florida, the honesty and knowledge is outstanding, I totally recommend them to breeders.

Called them because I was referred by someone else to find out how I go about making an appointment. Honestly sounded like the Dr was in surgery because I couldn’t get clear answers. I had my mother in law call him because she’s Hispanic and communicate better (thinking maybe there was a communication issue) but there wasn’t their just unorganized. I asked how do I schedule an appointment he said that he does surgeries all day just come. Fast forward I took my dog in for a PG and was told she would be ready that Friday. Still no appointment options given. He told me per our phone conversation regular c-sections are $700 and emergency are $1000. Friday I get there and honestly it wasn’t long wait. Via ultrasound confirmed she was ready. After preping her for surgery they then tell me it’s going to be $1000. I was a bit furious because it wasn’t a emergency and I was on top of everything and skipped out on my vet thinking I would be getting better services. I held my composer though. I realized my dogs scar looks horrible. She’s 4 days postpartum and her scar is OPEN. I’m furious. I’m disappointed in my self for taking a CHEAPER route. It’s unsanitary, it’s hectic in there and the service you based on your relationship with them. I feel horrible because my dog don’t deserve this.
