How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Veterinary Emergency Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Veterinary Emergency Center of East Volusia, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving Oliver's life! He had a urinary blockage. You all did such an amazing job at providing life saving care and the most kind and gentle care during his recovery! I don't know what would have been in store for me if we lost him. In the thank you card I had stated that I lost my Momma from the aftermath of a bladder infection going septic. Oliver's diagnosis hit very close to home. I am relieved that he did not have the same prognosis as Momma. I can never repay you or thank you enough! Forever grateful, JAMIE. Here are a few pictures just minutes after Oliver had been home.

I brought my Charlie in late on Sunday afternoon. He is a 2 year old male that had blood in his urine. Dr. Long and the staff were all so great. As pet owners we get stressed and anxious just like our pets. They were really patient as I kept wanting to check on him. He is young for his condition and they all took the time to talk with me and give me guidance for his prolonged care. Charlie is back home, happy, and feeling good. Thank you!

I want to highly recommend Allied Veterinary emergency specialists in South Daytona. I had to take my English bulldog and at 4 o’clock in the morning due to respiratory distress. I called and told him I was in route when I got there they got her right in got me into room and they diagnosed her with pneumonia. Dr. Long was very informative. And provided her recommendations for Winnie’s recovery. Winnie overnighted it there for two nights because of pneumonia. I just picked Winnie up , the young gentleman who discharged me was so nice and gave me great instructions. I wanted to say Thank you to Dr. Long , sweet Sara and the young man who discharged us. I am so grateful for having a Emergency vet that is caring. And very professional.
