How to Save on Veterinary Costs at SPOT Spay & Neuter Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Absolutely wonderful place to go to get certain veterinary care at a bit of a lower cost. My dogs got vaccines, a senior blood panel, nail trims, flea and heart worm medicines & calming treats. All for hundreds less than at our regular vet. SPOT doesn’t do everything a regular vet does but they cover all the basic services including spay/neuter. Their vet techs are always great & answer all questions with ease. They never make you feel rushed.

UPDATE: The receptionist told me that I would receive a call back from the office manager. Instead, I was called back by the rude and horrible attitude vet tech, Selina. I told her I did not want to speak with her, as she had already hung up and seemed completely uneducated. She refused to put me on the phone with anyone else. She said she was the only one who knew about the medication Yet, the first phone call with her, when I asked her when my dog would regain his hearing — her response was “it should be sometime soon”. Really informative. She also laughed at me, when I told her that NO last year they did not give my dog ear drops. Originally last year, the prescribed him ear drops and I said it would be a struggle to put in, so they switched my dog to pill antibiotics instead. It’s not my fault they didn’t update their records or keep proper records. For her to laugh at me when she has just prescribed my dog a medication that caused him to go partially deaf is sickening, and shows what kind of disgusting human being she is— if you can even call her human. EDIT: I say this because she had zero empathy, compassion, or even the slightest bit of decent manner while this happened to my dog. She even had the nerve to say that my dog is elderly so he was probably deaf before. I think I would know when my best friend lost his hearing, and it was from the medication you prescribed him!! I wouldn’t be surprised if she harms the animals with her volatile and nasty attitude. I spoke to my regular vet, and they said that this is a COMMON PROBLEM IN GERIATRIC DOGS with the medication SPOT provided me for my pet. Considering my dog is 10 years old, they knew very well he is a senior dog and should have been prescribed an alternative medicine. Disgusting people! Stay as far away as possible

This is the BEST place ever. Esp, for being affordable. Senior blood work and 2 nail trims. Would have cost me over $150 at my old vets office. And that was for the blood work. Plus, they're close by to where I live. And everyone that works there is WONDERFUL and patient. Thank God I found them a few years ago. !!!!!YAY!!!!!

SPOT is a great low cost veterinary service. The cost may be low but the care is exceptional. I have always been impressed by the friendly, attentive staff. Since you are unable to go back with your pet, I have never met the vets.

I couldn't be happier with my experiences at the SPOT spay & neuter clinic. All of the staff we interacted with were efficient, helpful, friendly, & caring! They did everything possible to accommodate our availability & crazy schedule at that time. Most importantly, they took great care of our animal. Of all the places I looked into, they also offered the most affordable prices for these pet services. I highly recommend the SPOT clinic if you are looking for excellent, & compassionate care for your family pet, as well as affordable prices, & fantastic customer service!!! out of 5 stars, I give them 10!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
