My 10 and a 1/2-year-old Boston terrier had a bladder stone removal surgery at DPC veterinarian in Davie by Doctor Loduca. I was informed after the surgery that the surgery was extremely intense and that her bladder had to be worked on twice during that surgery. Meaning that? After completing the surgery, the first time they found that there was hematomas and stones still inside the bladder, so they had to re-enter the bladder. Turn it inside out, scrape a clean and complete the surgery. I was told that I need to find a recovery center for her and they recommend . Saint Francis, where Doctor loduca Is the nighttime surgeon and physician? I was skeptical about going to saint Francis.I've been going to Doctor Stone at Pasadena lakes for over 35 years. I was Happy that the facility was close by the house. It wasVery clean, very quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Even though I wasn't, I was nervous and concerned about my dog. The staff reassured me that everything would be OK.after talking to doctor Loduca, I was informed that she would have to stay there for 5 days. When it was time to pick her up? I was extremely happy on how well that my dog was able to move. After such an extensive surgery and recovery and the prices were extremely fair especially. Since neighboring veterinarians are now almost all corporate veterinarians. Saint Francis is a old school veterinarian hospital that there aren't many in South Florida like I really appreciate their staff and their doctors. Job well done from saint francis Hospital

I recently took my puppy to the veterinarian for constipation symptoms. However, I was extremely disappointed with the level of care we received. The doctor and staff had unfriendly and unprofessional attitudes, which made me feel uncomfortable. Even worse, the doctor did not even introduce himself before examining my dog. He simply walked into the room and proceeded to tell me that my dog was unable to urinate because "his tail was down when he squatted." The only solution he offered was to insert a catheter. I was shocked when they took my playful puppy away for the procedure without running any tests. I could hear him crying in pain from the back room. The assistant even questioned why the doctor didn't sedate the dog. When they finally brought my injured dog back to the room, I was horrified. He had two catheters, one of which was broken and bent, and the other was not appropriate for an eight-week-old puppy. Both were covered in blood and blood clots. My poor puppy could barely move after that. The doctor then recommended surgery and told me that my puppy might not survive. I noticed that he seemed confused and disoriented, and he even left the room without finishing the exam. I demanded to take my dog with me, and the doctor became upset. I immediately took my puppy to another veterinarian who ran several tests and discovered that the catheter had been inserted incorrectly, causing severe injuries that were beyond repair. My puppy died because of the veterinarian's negligence. If you care about your pets, do not take them to this clinic. I regret ever stepping foot in that place. My puppy would still be alive if I had taken him elsewhere.

I am so grateful for the staff at St. Francis Animal Hospital for saving the life of my TNR colony cat Scootchy who had a severe injury to her tail and needed amputation. The surgery was a success and they worked with me to make it happen. Last year they saved the life of my 15 year old cat and she's healthier than ever.

Everyone is hard on this emergency Animal Hospital. I've had to register two different cats for two different life threatening emergencies, for multiple-night stays, and these people pulled through. Now I won't sugar coat it.... when I first went there, it was in the middle of the night and I had an injured cat. I was like "what the hell is this"? The decor is dated, and it's next to a liquor store. Is it Bamfield? Is it ultra modern like all the other animal hospitals? Absolutely not. But they got the job done right. I would compare it to a state-of-the-art human Hospital versus one in a low income neighborhood. They're both hospitals, they both have doctors, and they'll both save your life and correct what ails you. But one will take you to the cleaners, and the other one will be affordable (provided that people even pay their hospital bills anymore). Well, this animal hospital is the latter and not the former. Trust me folks, when it's 3:00a.m. and your pet has an emergency, and you're at your wit's end.....you won't hesitate to take them here, and you won't regret it. At least that's my experience with them.

I am writing this review with all my love and admiration for the staff and the doctor at St. Francis Emergency Animal Hospital. I brought my dog Sky there, fearing she wouldn't survive. As soon as we arrived, the staff immediately came to help. The doctor quickly diagnosed her with eclampsia. I have never met anyone wiser or more knowledgeable than the doctor. Both the doctor and the staff were incredibly professional, explaining everything clearly. They treated Sky's low calcium levels and stabilized her condition. I also asked for advice on nursing the puppies, and a team member, whom I wish I knew by name, was like an angel. She taught me how to nurse and stimulate the puppies correctly. Thank you so much for all the love and care you provided to my beloved Sky and her puppies.💕💕💕💕💕🙏🏻
