Went there for the first time with my dog for annual vaccinations. When the vet assistant and vet came in neither said hi to my dog. They just started poking and prodding her. My dog was visibly nervous and being introduced would’ve taken away some of her anxiety. After the exam they left the room and told us to wait for the heartworm test results. After a wait I was given the results and told we could leave. Unfortunately the vaccines hadn’t been given. After bring this to the assistant’s attention we had to wait for another period of time before the vet came back in. I was told the staff was short handed, which is understandable. But a little more friendliness to my dog would’ve vastly improved this visit.

Our adult cat, Skippy John, went in here a few months ago and was in severe pain. We were told it was urinary blockage and it could easily be fatal. When we came to pick him up, he was feeling immensely better. I cannot thank them enough for saving his life. A bit later, I found a kitten, and decided to add her to the family. I took her in at 3-4 weeks old, and he was very gentle and really cared about her. In this area, I have found it very difficult to find any vets who care about cats like Dr. Kelley
