How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Lake Community Pet Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I could not be more thankful for the doctors and the entire staff! Everyone was so patient with me and my senior pup. We actually have all 5 of our animals here and each one has their own special care plan! Especially with an emotionally charged conversation about my senior dog's care, everyone was patient and compassionate. Dr. Taylor was so super educational and informative. Bailey, the practice manager, took special care of my old lady dog while she got a full look over. We have a great senior dog care plan in place while also discussing some options for our "on the heavier side" feline. COULD NOT RECOMMEND MORE!

I brought my pet, Muffin, to the Leesburg office because I suspected something was wrong. After several visits, they failed to properly diagnose a UTI, even though the symptoms were obvious. Muffin was uncomfortable far longer than she should have been, and it was only after going to a different clinic that we finally got the right diagnosis and treatment. I’m very disappointed in the lack of thoroughness and attention to detail. When our animals can’t speak for themselves, it’s our responsibility to make sure they’re taken seriously—and unfortunately, that didn’t happen here. Update : It was definitely this clinic. Rosie in Deltona recommended yall. I’m sorry I listened. I’m not confused with another clinic and you just opened.

If you’re local and looking for someone who truly loves animals and treats them like her own, this is the place. Dr. Ferizolli and her tech were kind and patient with my dog who can be difficult at the vet and made us both very comfortable. Definitely recommend!
