They’re very nice but I took my dog in for a consult for a simple hernia repair. They wanted to do a CBC, full chemistry panel, urinalysis, fecal exam, heartworm test, ultrasound of his belly, full body x-rays, and that doesn’t even include the surgery. The labs alone would’ve been $500. The only thing necessary would’ve been a CBC, chemistry panel, and maybe a urinalysis. All this other stuff is not necessary it was just extra money in their pocket. If I had let them do all of that stuff, I would’ve paid $2500 for a simple umbilical repair that should cost no more than $500. No reason at all to do full body x-rays because he doesn’t have any broken bones. You can’t see an umbilical hernia very well on the x-ray anyways. She just wanted lots and lots and lots and lots of money. She already made $77 off of me in five minutes from our consult. Please don’t go to them. Go to Harmony animal hospital because they are a not for profit clinic and do awesome work for much cheaper

Nice caring staff. Appreciate the thoughtful care from the vet and her staff. Was disappointed when I took Lucy to get fixed at a less expensive alternative. East +West were three times more expensive. Easy West would not confirm she had a heart worm negative test. I had to pay for an additional test. I thought that was inconsiderate, considering I am not wealthy. Just not nice. I've reconsidered and will take Lucy to another Vet. ACT, Tampa spayed Lucy. Inexpensive and excellent care. They do all types of Vet services at reasonable prices.

I'm going to start off by saying everyone here is very nice. But I would not recommend them. Their lack of experience and sense of urgency for my dog who had an aggressive type of cancer was an extreme let down. Also, this review is only being made after several attempts to contact them about an issue we had, which they have chosen to ignore. One of the issues was over a simple wrap job that my dog needed on her leg. I was charged $81, and the job was done so poorly that it made my dog's leg swell up twice the size (see pictures), so I had to remove it within an hour or so after it was done. When I asked for a refund, they said they would wrap it again, however, I did not want the same thing to happen again. I taught myself how to do it correctly within 5 minutes. We also had to find out own resources for surgery opinions and cancer treatment options. I had followed up about the refund again, also mentioning that my dog had unfortunately now passed away since she couldn't get the surgery she needed within a timely fashion (the surgery date was over a month after the initial visit, a week after she passed). They were nice enough to send a condolences card, but chose to ignore the part about the refund - so at that point the card was more of a slap in the face than helpful. I mean, it was really just a simple solution to make a terrible situation hurt a little less.

Dr. Register is just great! I love that she balances both Eastern and Western medicine. She cares about your animals, and handles them with compassion. The techs and staff are friendly. (Joy is amazing!) Everyone is always smiling! My dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE being there - even my "stranger danger" lab becomes out going. Definitely our "other family doctor." 😊

Dr. Register and her staff are wonderful. We are so grateful to be with such a compassionate team of people. They have hours that work great for any schedule (they have evening options available). I would highly recommend East West Animal Hospital. I hear stories of people going to multiple clinics to find one that they like. We are so lucky to have found them first and we know our 7 month old Goldendoodle is in great hands!
